Submission Guidelines

In-Mind Magazine is a peer-reviewed magazine presenting research from social psychology to a wider audience. What does peer-review entail? Peer-review, in scientific circles, means that articles are reviewed by (for authors) anonymous reviewers who judge the quality of the article. For In-Mind Magazine: After a user submits an article, the editor-in-chief assigns an associate editor who seeks out one expert in the respective research area and one other reviewer, who assures that the article is more broadly understandable. Finally, a journalist/prominent science writer will read through the articles in order to bridge the information to a lay audience. Authors are commonly researchers (graduate students or advanced researchers) in social psychology. Authors can request to be anonymous in the review process upon request.
